If you're creating a page on your website to serve as a "standalone" page, you can remove the navigation menu from that page. This is useful if you want to link to an announcement or campaign page for a limited time.
How to hide the navigation menu on a new page:
- From the ‘Edit Content’ tab, click ‘Pages’
- Select ‘Add a page’
- Select a ‘Page Type’
- Name your page in the ‘Title’ field (defaults to the page type if unchanged)
- Next to ‘Show navigation menu’ select ‘No’
- This hides the navigation menu so it will not display on the page.
- Adjust your menu options
- Click ‘Create my page’
How to hide the navigation menu on an existing page:
- From the ‘Edit Content’ tab, click ‘Pages’
- Click the pencil icon next to the page you want to modify
- In the ‘Show navigation menu’ option, select ‘No’
- This hides the navigation menu so it will not display on this page.
- Click ‘Save’
How to set a published page as a ‘Landing page’
The ‘Landing page’ style removes the Header (including the navigation menu) and Footer from your website page. In some cases, this style can be beneficial for a page already created on your website. If you would like to apply the ‘Landing page’ style to a page you’ve already created on your website, follow these steps:
- From the ‘Edit Content’ tab, click ‘Pages’
- Click on the pencil icon next to the page you’d like to adjust
- In the page options, click on the toggle next to ‘Landing page’ to transform the page into a ‘Landing page’
- Click ‘Save’
Once you’ve applied the ‘Landing page’ option, your Header and Footer will be removed. To learn more about the preset ‘Landing page,’ view the ‘Adding a landing page’ Help article.
Note: To delete, rename, or reorder pages please view the ‘Deleting, Renaming, and Reordering Pages’ help article.
