Can we change the dollar in Euro and can we let the customer pay buy our own bank system?
Posted by Adam on Jun 30 2015 5:46 PM
@Colorsensation - the new ticket feature uses your existing 'payment settings', so if your currency is set to Euro there, that will be the currency for the transaction.

Really fantastic, thanks! Can the "mailing list ask" be toggled on/off for those of us with Aweber?

@Brett - Currently this isn't an option but I'll be glad to add it to the suggestions list. As a workaround, you can check the Fans tab once a week or so. Then export any new members to a csv file, then to your Aweber list. If you have any other questions, please email us from the HELP tab. Thanks!

Awesome! Thanks! Any way bandzoogle can create an embed code to post the "buy tickets" button, etc. onto other sites? 🙏

Is there a way of managing reserved seating/tiered pricing or is this just an open theatre option please?
Posted by Desi on Jul 4 2015 8:10 AM
@Mantra Vega - at this time the ticketing system is only for use with GA/flat-price events, but I've passed that feedback along for you!

Would love to have the ability to use this on recurring events and also different pricing options. Would be great to have adults and kids, etc... We use it for a weekly theater show. I know I can work around the recurring by creating a separate event, but that would take some time to setup. Thanks for adding this feature though!! A step in the right direction for sure.

This is nice, and thank you. The inventory limit is important to us. That, and the ability to print a ticket are two useful things that the "store" feature doesn't offer. Is a discount code feature in the works? This would really be useful to us, and is something most venues and ticket sellers (like Brown Paper Tickets, etc.) offer. Thanks!
Posted by Adam on Jul 9 2015 4:06 PM
@The Golden Gate Blues Society - we do already have a discount code feature for our Pro accounts, which we launched just before the ticket feature! And it works with your ticket sales too. In Bandzoogle, click a 'store' feature, then click the 'discount code' option. You can set your code (like 'TICKETSALE'), enter a discount percentage and add it there. Visitors can then click the option to buy a ticket from the event and in the cart, enter the code, click the 'apply' button, and the discount will be applied to their purchase.

what is the best way to make sure folks don't print additional tickets?
Allison S
Posted by Allison S on Jul 21 2015 12:55 PM
@theCause - Each ticket has a ticket number that will match with the ticket list you print out. So even if they print the ticket more than once, they won't be able to use it more than once if it's cross checked at the door. If you have any more questions, please email us from the HELP tab. Thanks,

Is there a way to set what the ticket numbers are? For example we have an upcoming show where we received numbered advance tickets, would it be possible to have the ticket numbers we sell match the ticket numbers we received from the venue so as not to mess with their count?
Posted by Adam on Jul 28 2015 4:39 PM
@The Thirsty Crows - ticket numbers are generated randomly by Bandzoogle when they're purchased from the 'events' feature. So at the moment, there's no option for this, but I'll pass the suggestion up to the development team for you here.

Any plans to add an option for different ticket prices?
Posted by Adam on Jul 30 2015 6:15 PM
@Martin Kerr - we've had a few other members requested in the blog comments here already, but I'll be sure to add your voice to this suggestion to the development team.

Is there a VIP / Guest option which may have a $0.00 value ( I guess similar question to being able to have different ticket prices) Door list would need to differentiate between VIP's , Comps & Paying Guests.
Posted by Desi on Aug 1 2015 7:11 AM
@Levi McGrath - both of these suggestions are on our development list (to add different price levels as well as a comp option.) I'll note that this is something you're looking for as well!

Hi, is there a 'bulk upload' feature for putting show info into Bandzoogle. I am involved with two set ups - one running weekly gigs throughout the year and the other is an annual event which this year has 133 shows. If I have to sit down at my 'puter to input all this info manually I'll probably loose the will to live! However, all the show info is already held in a database from which I can output it into a CSV spreadsheet. jb
Posted by Desi on Aug 2 2015 11:23 AM
@Edinburgh Folk Club - we don't currently have a bulk import option to add events from a .CSV, but I will pass this feedback along to the developers for you!
