Website Inspiration: Great Homepage from DJ Mini

DJ Mini website

Who: DJ Mini
What: DJ and soundscape artist
Where: Montreal
Why her website rocks: Since the homepage is the first thing fans see when visiting a page, it's important to present strong branding. DJ Mini does this right away with a great header slideshow and embedded social media links using the MySites feature.

Moving down the page, the great first impression continues with a bio and photos of her in action. Using our Instagram feature at the bottom of the page ensures fresh content is consistently displayed!

DJ Mini also makes great use of page features to create an organized and engaging layout throughout her website. From her embedded SoundCloud player to dynamic photos and engaging content, her site offers easy access to important information. She uses our responsive theme Surround, so her site looks great across all devices and screen resolutions.

How do you embed the social media links into the header?

Some of our newer themes have site-wide My Sites icons built into the header space. The DJ Mini site is using our Surround theme that places the icons toward the bottom of the header. I checked out your site and you are using the Manhattan theme that places the site-wide My Sites icons at the top right corner of the header. You can add the icons in the Pages tab by clicking the My Sites (site wide) feature, then adding the sites you'd like to display icons for. If you have any more questions, please email us from your HELP tab and we'll help further. Thanks!
