New website template: Vincent

If you have new music that you want to show off in a fun, funky way, this new music website template is for you. Introducing Vincent - a theme with a simple layout to make your content sparkle. 

Setting off your main image with background color, a side menu, and a simple layout allows your music to be the focal point. 

Make your main image stand out

Add a hi-quality, landscape style image to the top of your page. Then set your site title to the left, right, or center above it. Use a solid, eye-catching font to be sure your band name stands out. Your header image will appear on every page by default. 

You can jazz it up by adding a border, setting the border color, and choosing an image filter.

Side menu with options

The placement of the menu in this website template offers a different kind of layout. Sitting neatly beside your image means all of your pages will be easy to find. 

The current page is highlighted with a color, or a box. You can also change the menu lines to dotted, dashed, double, or remove them completely. To further customize the menu, align the text to the left, center, or right.

We’ve selected fonts for your site title and menu, but you can customize those by choosing from a list of font options to suit your musical style.

Page background customization

To customize the background of your website, select a color that goes well with your header image. This will apply to all of your pages. Try out adding a background image instead - this might make your design look even more modern and interesting.

Full-width content area

Make your content touch the edges of your website if you want - you can set the width of your website to 100%. This looks great if you have a blog feature with images, a tiled photo gallery, or a music player in your content area.

Rather than using full-width section colors, this website template offers content blocks where you can add a background color, and adjust the opacity. The content blocks can be joined, or set into separate blocks.

Website template variations

We’re created 4 default template styles for you to choose from and customize as you wish. Each one offers a different take, with fonts and colors selected to go well together.

Variation A is sleek and dark, with a stylish side menu in white. The retro background and hints of neon pink make it work well for an EDM musician, or pop band. You can almost feel the energy pulsing off the page with this color combination.

Variation B of this website template is a study in greyscale, framing your image with a simple font, and grey background. If your latest album features black-and-white imagery, this template would showcase that well for you. Add in a few pops of an accent color to make your music player or mailing list sign-up form stand out.

Variation C is subtle and oh so elegant. The default background features blue and sandy colors, and the content is sectioned off with the almost transparent blocks. This version of the template would work well for singer-songwriters and indie musicians, in particular.

Variation D packs a punch with a trendy yellow background and sharp black text. If you go with the original colors, this template would be a good fit for a producer, a reggae band, or rap artist. With a quick background color change, it’s a wide open canvas for really any style of music.

All of these variations of the Vincent template are mobile-ready and will adapt to any screen size, on any device.
