Bandzoogle offers many options to add music to your website. We have built-in music players that allow you to stream and sell directly from your website. Within those players you can import tracks straight from Soundcloud. If you would rather use a Soundcloud player, your can easily embed their widget on your website.

How to add a Soundcloud player to your website:

  1. Login to Soundcloud.com and click either:
    • Tracks: To display a player with a single track.
    • Sets: To display a player with a playlist.
  2. Click ‘Share’, and copy the embed code provided there
  3. Log in to your Bandzoogle account at www.bandzoogle.com/login
  4. From the ‘Edit Content’ tab, click ‘Pages’ and open the page on which you’ll be working
  5. Click ‘Add feature’
  6. Select the ‘HTML code’ feature
  7. Use the placement arrows on that page to set the feature’s location
  8. Paste the Soundcloud embed code into the text box
  9. Click ‘Save’

Notes:

  • The Soundcloud player embed code places a widget on your website. Since this is not a Bandzoogle feature it will not skin to the style/colors you have set for your website. For a more cohesive look, use Bandzoogle’s built-in Music feature and import your Soundcloud tracks there.
  • We cannot modify or provide support for external HTML code. If you have questions or concerns about the embedded feature, or require support for the widget, you’ll need to contact the company that supplied the code.

Importing Soundcloud tracks within Bandzoogle music features

You can directly import Soundcloud tracks to Bandzoogle’s Music feature or the Site-Wide Player instead of using a Soundcloud widget.

To add the Music feature or Site-Wide Player to your website, begin with these steps:

  1. From the ‘Edit Content’ tab, click ‘Pages’ and open the page on which you’ll be working
  2. Click ‘Add feature’

Note: The Site-wide Player will automatically be placed at the bottom of your website, on each page. The location cannot be moved as it is built into our system.
