How to create a ‘Spotify promotion’ landing page

The ‘Spotify promotion’ landing page template is a pro feature. To add a ‘Spotify promotion’ landing page to your website, follow these steps:

  1. From the ‘Edit Content’ tab, click ‘Pages’
  2. Select ‘Add a page’
  3. In the ‘Page types’ area, click on ‘Landing page templates’
  4. From the dropdown options, select ‘Spotify promotion’
  5. Name your page in the ‘Title’ field (defaults to ‘Spotify promotion’ if unchanged)
  6. Adjust your ‘Menu settings’
    • Note: If you’d like to use this page exclusively as a promotional link, select ‘Not in menu’ and it will not appear in your website’s main menu. You can still provide the page url to your fans.
  7. Adjust your ‘Page options.’ To learn more about ‘Page options,’ please read the ‘Adding Pages’ help article.
  8. Click ‘Create my page’

How to populate the ‘Smart Links’ feature

The Bandzoogle ‘Smart Links’ feature allows you to promote and sell your music, and provide direct links to e-commerce tools on your website, to streaming platforms, and to your social channels. The feature displays a promotional image, streamlined buttons, and eye-catching titles alongside a description that encourages fans and industry professionals to review your latest release.

To set up the ‘Smart Links’ feature to link to your track, album, or profile on Spotify, follow these steps:

  1. On your ‘Spotify promotion’ landing page, click the ‘Smart Links’ feature.
  2. In the ‘Smart Links” area, click the link in the ‘Your URL’ field to copy it to your clipboard. Share this URL to guide visitors to your ‘Spotify promotion’ landing page.
  3. In the ‘Sell Music’ area, adjust the following:
    • Album or single: Select one of your albums or tracks to add a ‘Buy’ button to your Smart Links which links to it. * Add a short title that invites fans to sign up for your mailing list
      • Store title: Give a name to the page that the ‘Buy’ button will link to. This will display next to the button.
      • Store label: Customize the button text.
  4. In the ‘Promo Info’ area, adjust the following:
    • Click the image thumbnail to upload a custom photo. This can be album or track artwork.
      • Toggle on ‘Use this image as the section background’ to use this image as the section background as well.
    • Title: Name your album or single.
    • Text: Add some text here to describe your album or single.
    • Text alignment on desktop: Set the ‘Title’ and ‘Text’ to be left-aligned, centered, or right-aligned on the desktop version of your website
    • Text alignment on mobile: Adjust the text alignment for your mobile website only
  5. Under ‘Links,’ click on the Spotify icon to open the link and button settings.
    • URL: Enter the URL for your track, album, or profile on Spotify. This is the web address that the Spotify button will link to when clicked.
    • Button text: Customize the text that displays on the Spotify button.
  6. In the ‘Options’ section, toggle ‘Share link’ and ‘Link to website’ off to remove either hyperlink from the bottom of your Smart Links feature.
