Choose an EPK template specific to your music goals, or create multiple electronic press kits for industry outreach. Having an EPK for your music makes it easy for media, presenters, and festival programmers to find information about you.

How to create an EPK
If you’re looking to create a stand-alone EPK for your music, you can start with a 30-day free trial of the EPK plan and build one in minutes using our 6 different EPK types.
To get started, follow these steps:
- Head to https://bandzoogle.com/features/epk
- Click ‘Try it free’
- Complete the 4 steps to create your new account
- Complete the 3 EPK setup steps:
- Choose a theme for your EPK
Note: Your theme can be changed at any time moving forward without affecting the content of your EPK.
- Add a header image and customize its appearance
- Set your Title/Logo
- Choose a theme for your EPK
- Select the ‘One page’ website option
- Choose ‘Electronic Press Kit’ as the default content type for your page
- Start adding content to your EPK
Upgrading from the EPK plan to a website plan
If ever you decide to add more pages and build a full website for your music, you can upgrade to one of our 3 website plans at any time.
To upgrade your plan, follow these steps:
- Click the orange ‘Upgrade’ link in the top-right corner of your account
- Choose from the 3 available website plans (Lite, Standard, or Pro)
- Select from the monthly or annual payment options
Note: By paying annually for the year in advance, you get a discount equivalent to 2 free months of your plan.
How to add an ‘Electronic Press Kit (EPK)’ page to your website
You can also add an EPK page to your larger music website. To do so, follow these steps:
From the ‘Edit Content’ tab, click ‘Pages’ and select ‘Add a page’
- Under ‘Page Type’ select one of the following EPK page template types:
- Electronic press kit: Provide a professional resume for promoters, venues and fans.
- EPK to advance shows: Make your tour seamless with a detailed EPK for venues.
- EPK to book shows: Create a press kit to help you book shows with venues.
- EPK for radio and curators: Promote your music to radio, podcasts, and playlist curators.
- EPK for labels: Use this to create an EPK to pitch to labels, management, and publishers.
- EPK for media: Complete your media assets into an EPK for journalists, music reviewers, and more.
- Name the page (defaults to the page template name)
- Select the additional page options of your choice
- Click ‘Create my page’
This will create your new press kit page. By default it will be set up with the features commonly found in an effective EPK.
Notes: You can add, move, or remove features on the page as you’d like. To learn how to add or remove features, please see the Content and Organization Help article.

- ‘Video’ feature: add a live video that represents your show for venues to share on their website or social media
- ‘Text’ features: add highlights from press reviews

How to populate your EPK features
EPKs include everything the press needs, from a short bio, to promotional photos, career highlights, press, awards, and music. Each Bandzoogle EPK template comes with a set of suggested features to help you create a specific type of EPK.
Here are the steps to populate the features of your EPK:
Adding a ‘Quote’ feature
A quote from a trusted source like a music blog or reviewer will help your EPK appear professional
- Click 'Add Quote'
- Add the quote text in the Quote field
- Add the Author’s Name (optional)
- Add the Source, which would be the publication’s name (optional)
- Add the Source Link, the direct URL to the article where your quote is featured (optional)
- Choose the Display Format — large, medium, or small
Adding the ‘Image and Text’ feature
Adding your artist bio and a professional press photo lets industry professionals learn more about you. For tips on creating an artist bio, check out How to Write an Effective Musician Bio.
- Click 'Add an Image' to open the feature options
- Set your 'Display Format'
- Add your image from your image selector, or upload a new image
- Add your band name in the 'Heading' field
- Add a brief description of your band in the 'Subheading' field
- Add your artist bio in the 'Description' field
- Using the 'Button' options, add a link to a stand-out track, an external link to your social media profile, or a contact email address
- In the 'Options' section, set how the text will wrap, the position of your, the text position, and the text alignment

Adding images to your Press Photos section
The press photos section has 3 columns, each with one ‘Image’ feature. Add high-quality images of your band – live or posed – to this section.
- Click 'Add Image'
- Choose an image from your image selector or upload a new image
- Use the editing tools to crop, link, or add SEO Alt text to your image
Adding a Sample Track to your EPK
Add your best track to make an impact.
- Click 'Add your tracks'
- Add one or two tracks from your library, or upload a new one, to the music feature

Add a Sample Video to your EPK
Whether it’s a live video, a music video, or an interview, adding a video to your page will help industry professionals get a sense of how your band sounds.
- Click 'Add Video'
- Paste in the direct URL for the Vimeo or Youtube video of your choice
Adding a Contact Form to your EPK
With the ‘Custom Form’ feature you can add custom fields for your contacts to fill out. Adding targeted questions, like a multiple choice ‘Industry’ field, or a Yes/No option for ‘Would you like a music sample?’ is a great way to engage professionals right off the bat.
- Click 'Add a Contact Form'
- Give your Form a title and click ‘Create new form’
- Add or remove fields from your form
- In the 'Form Options' tab, create your personalized automatic response message

How to share your EPK
Share your EPK with a direct link
For easy access to copy your musician bio, download a press photo, or read more about you in a concise EPK file, share your EPK digitally or as a PDF.
On the EPK membership plan, your EPK page will have a direct subdomain URL, in this format: yourprojectname.bandzoogle.com. If you'd like to register a custom domain for your EPK (like https://mydomain.com) you can do so for an additional fee, recurring yearly while the account is active. To purchase a custom domain, please follow the steps outlined in the 'Adding Domain Names' Help article.
On a website membership plan, the EPK page on your website would be accessed through the direct page URL, following this format: yourdomain.com/thepagename
Sending your EPK page link (URL) to radio stations, venue bookers, or music bloggers allows them to view it at their own convenience.
Note: If you would like to reserve access to your EPK to specific visitors, you may set a password on the page. The best practice, though, is to keep yourEPK page accessible to all site visitors.
How to access the ‘share’ options on your EPK page
The ‘share’ panel allows you to easily share the page URL to various platforms (Facebook, Instagram, via email, etc.) and also provides a QR code for you to print, copy, or download.
To access the ‘share’ options:
- From your ‘Edit Content’ tab, click on the ‘Pages’ menu
- Click on the cog icon next to your EPK page name
- Click on ‘Share’ at the top of the page
- Choose from the following share options:
- Share on Facebook: Click icon to connect directly to your Facebook account and share a link to your EPK.
- Share on Threads: Click icon to connect directly to your Instagram account and share a link to the EPK through Threads.
- Share on X: Click icon to connect to your X account and share a link to your EPK.
- Share by Email: Click icon to open your device's default email client and send a direct link to your EPK.
- Link: Click the ‘copy’ button to get the product URL copied to your clipboard, then paste the link where you want to use it.
- QR Code: Select the option to copy, print, or download the QR code.

How to export your EPK as a PDF
If you’d like to send your EPK in an email as an attached file, or print a physical copy, you can export it as a downloadable file. This option will save your EPK page as a PDF both on your computer and within your website’s file manager.
To ‘Export as PDF,’ follow these steps:
- From your ‘Edit Content’ tab, click on the ‘Pages’ menu
- Click on the pencil icon next to your EPK page name
- In your ‘Page options,’ click on ‘Export as PDF’
- Toggle on/off the option to ‘Show website address in footer’
- Click ‘Generate PDF’
- Click on the link under ‘You can download your PDF here:’
- Depending on your web browser setup, your download will be saved automatically or follow the actions provided by your browser
Note: Your PDF will also be available in your ‘File Manager,’ which you can access and download at any time.
How to add your downloadable EPK to your website
If you want to offer the downloadable version of your EPK directly on your EPK page, follow these steps:
- From your ‘Edit Content’ tab, click on the ‘Pages’ menu
- Click on the pencil icon next to your EPK page name
- In your ‘Page options,’ click on ‘Export as PDF’
- Toggle on/off the option to ‘Show website address in footer’
- Click ‘Generate PDF’
- Click on the link under ‘You can download your PDF here:’
- Depending on your web browser setup, your download will be saved automatically or follow the actions provided by your browser
- From your ‘Edit Content’ tab, select the page you want to add the file to
- Click ‘Add feature’ and choose the ‘File List’ feature
- Place the ‘File List’ feature on your page.
- In the ‘File List’ feature, click ‘Add file’
- Upload your downloaded EPK file, add the ‘Title’ of your file, and add a ‘Description’
- Click ‘Save’
Creating a Onesheet to promote your album or EP
To promote your latest single to radio, podcasts, and playlists, create a Onesheet that contains relevant information and media about your project.
You can also make a downloadable Onesheet for radio curators, for example, to accept your song and have on hand when they play your music on the radio.
- From the ‘Edit Content’ tab, click ‘Pages’ and select ‘Add a page’
- Under ‘Add a Page’ click ‘Special page templates’
- Select ‘Onesheet.’ The Onesheet option is great for promoting an album or project in a one page summary.
- Name the page in the title field (default: Onesheet)
- Select the additional page options of your choice
- Click ‘Create my page’
This will create your Onesheet page. By default it will be set up with the features most commonly used for promoting a single. You can add, remove, or reorder any features on the Onesheet page.
