Make your mark with a website that’s stunningly simple and easy to scan. With a large main image area, upper menu, and tons of room for content, Encore is a modern website template that will set your music apart!
Image and more image
The first thing you can use to your advantage when your website visitors land on your page is your image. Make sure it reflects who you are and gives a taste of what your music sounds like at first glance. Include your instrument, choose a backdrop that matches your music, or stage a scene with your full band.
With the Encore website template, the main image takes up the entire screen, by default, with a down arrow indicating that content lies below. You can shorten the height of this image if your band shot is smaller and wide, or keep it as-is for a dramatic look.
Add an image filter to give your main image more color, a black and white look, or add subdued and muted mystery.
Then, your inner page images can look totally different, with a slim image at the top, and lots of content underneath. Change up the image per page, or create a slideshow. If you’d rather create the same look across all pages, set the header height to match.
Customizable call-to-action
Sell your music with an eye-catching call-to-action. The Encore website template features this text and button overlaid on your main image. Choose a color that matches your main image, but will also stand out and be legible.
The call-to-action has a few options for style: add a background and opacity, a border color and width, and a button color plus hover color option. A semi-transparent background may be the answer to set your text out against your image.
Then set the position of the call to action to the left, middle, or right, depending on where the focal point of your image is. A call-to-action is not only modern and stylish, but can be essential in driving your website visitors to buy your music or sign up to your mailing list. Make it look great so you can make good use of it!

You can always remove the call-to-action, add it back later, or change up the text and button text, depending on what you’re promoting.
Make the menu
The menu for the Encore template spans the top of the page, and is semi-transparent by default. This gives a nice modern look and some edge to your main image beneath.
Change up the the color to match your image, or make the menu background fully opaque, or totally transparent for a different look.
For a sleek look, toggle your menu items to be all uppercase letters. Then adjust the menu hover color, so that the currently selected page will show a box around the page name in a shade that matches your website’s color scheme.
Beautiful band name
In the left corner of your menu, or above your menu, sits your band name. Get your site title looking just right. This is your band name after all, and you don’t want it to be missed!
Choose from a variety of fonts, increase the size, and change the color to make yours stand out. You can also upload a logo or custom font to give your name some attention.
[New Design Option: Custom Fonts]
If you want a larger band name, increase the size of the font - this will cause your name to appear over top of your menu, and in the center of your page, rather than to the left. It’s a nice looking option that ties together your name and content if you’re going for a simple, streamlined style.

Sleek submenus
Whether you want to add other language pages, or create a cascading list of items, the submenus in this website template are crisp and customizable.
If you have a Media page, for example, you could add subpages for Photos, Videos, and Press. A little arrow beside your main menu page will indicate that there’s a dropdown to click.
If you don’t add any content to your main menu page, your visitors will have to choose one of the dropdown options. These submenus are customizable as well - add any color you’d like as the menu background and text color. It’s easy to choose from the color swatches already added to your template, so you’ll get the exact color match you’ve used before.
Beautiful whitespace
Make the most of your content by setting it against a clean background. That way, you can save the pops of color for your album cover, your buttons, or your images.
Creating an uncluttered look is especially important for you inner pages, with competing visual cues, like an EPK page, or a Store page with lots of merch.
Set the background color to anything you want, keeping in mind the other colors you have present on your pages. Then add your content, from audio to photos, and text. Use our preset page options or mix and match your features from a blank slate into columns to get a balanced look.

Within the content area, you can customize your font colors as well, your social media icons, and your button shapes and colors. Add your content to the default options, or go wild with style and customize each color.
The Encore theme is a sleek way to showcase your music, bio, merch, and more. Consider your colors carefully, add a stunning main image, and you’ll be well on your way to creating a mobile-ready music website that’ll put your band in the spotlight.
