You can generate and sell tickets to live stream shows directly through your Bandzoogle Calendar feature. All ticket sales are commission-free, and you can send the link automatically to your fans.

Selling tickets and sending a link of your live stream to the attendees

To sell tickets to a live stream event, you can add a Calendar feature with event details. You can make use of a service such as Zoom to stream your live show.

  1. From the ‘Edit Content’ tab, click ‘Pages’ and open the page on which you’ll be working
  2. Click ‘Add feature’
  3. Select the ‘Calendar’ feature
  4. Use the placement arrows on that page to set the location of the feature
  5. Click ‘Add Event’
  6. Set the event details: Time and Date, Name and Location (if applicable), and Event Details
  7. Under ‘Sell Tickets’ choose the ‘Sell tickets through my website’ option.
  8. Enter the details for your live stream:
    • Price
    • Live stream link (such as a Zoom link)
    • Live stream information (such as the password)
  9. Click ‘Save’

Once you make a sale, the Live stream link and Live stream information will be sent automatically to your customer by email.

Selling tickets to host your live stream directly on your website

Create a password-protected page where you can host your live stream for ticket buyers, without having it be visible to everyone. Using a service such as Crowdcast to stream your live show, you can send the link right to your customers.

To add or edit a password protected page:

  1. From the ‘Edit Content’ tab, click ‘Pages’
    • New page: Click ‘Add a page’, add a title and select your page options
    • Existing: Click the pencil icon next to the page you want to modify
  2. Click ‘Advanced settings’
  3. Next to ‘Access Restrictions’ select ‘Anyone with a password’
  4. Enter a password for this page
  5. Click ‘Save’

To embed an HTML feature for your live stream:

  1. From the ‘Edit Content’ tab, click ‘Add Feature’
  2. Select ‘HTML Code’
  3. Use the placement arrows on that page to set the HTML Code feature’s location
  4. Set up your live stream by following the prompts in Crowdcast or the service of your choice
  5. Click Share to get your embed code from Crowdcast or the service of your choice
  6. Return to your HTML Code feature to paste in the code
  7. Click ‘Save’

Set up a live stream event on your password-protected page:

  1. Click ‘Add feature’
  2. Select the ‘Calendar’ feature
  3. Use the placement arrows on that page to set the location of the feature
  4. Click ‘Add Event’
  5. Set the event details: Time and Date, Name and Location (if applicable), and Event Details
  6. Under ‘Sell Tickets’ choose the ‘Sell tickets through my website’ option.
  7. Enter the details for your live stream:
    1. Price
    2. Live stream link: enter the URL of your password-protected page
    3. Live stream information: enter the password for your page
  8. Click ‘Save’

Once you make a sale, the password-protected page URL and password will be sent automatically to your customer by email.

Getting paid for live stream ticket sales

Anytime you sell an event ticket, the payment will either go to Stripe or Paypal depending on what you have set up. Bandzoogle does not take any money from your ticket sales.
