Bandzoogle direct-to-fan sales now reported to SoundScan

MONTREAL, QC (April 13, 2015) - Music sales through Bandzoogle websites are now reported to Nielsen SoundScan, the service that powers the Billboard charts. This means the 20,000+ musicians and bands who build their websites and stores with Bandzoogle now can get a chance at charting, which can generate buzz for their career and get media and industry attention.

This the latest addition to Bandzoogle’s new Pro plan. The 10 year old Montreal based company recently upgraded its more advanced plan by adding features and options such as inventory tracking, album pre-orders, the ability to sell ebooks, videos and other non-music digital files, sale pricing, and creating unlimited download codes.

Bandzoogle’s Pro plan also has advanced email analytics and no limits on file sizes, data storage, pages or mailing list members, etc. The Pro plan is $19.95 a month (or $199.95 a year) all included, fully hosted and supported, and Bandzoogle is one of the rare direct-to-fan platforms that doesn’t take a commission on the sales.

Bandzoogle also recently added integrations with Bandcamp, PledgeMusic, SoundCloud, Instagram and Bandsintown, letting musicians seamlessly integrate these services into their websites.
