March 10, 2020 - Musician website platform Bandzoogle has announced that Colin Mitchell, a 14-year veteran at the company, has been promoted to Chief Technology Officer.
Hired in 2006 as Bandzoogle’s second employee, Mitchell has been at the forefront of developing Bandzoogle’s platform and tools. As Lead Developer, he was instrumental in the release of Bandzoogle’s built-in Subscriptions feature in 2019, and was the architect behind the migration of thousands of HostBaby websites to the Bandzoogle platform this year.
Now in its 16th year of operations, Bandzoogle powers over 45,000 websites for musicians, who have sold more than $55 million in music, merch, and tickets commission-free, through the platform.
“Colin has touched almost every part of our system, and has always been a strong advocate for both our product and our members.” says Stacey Bedford, CEO. “I am so proud to have worked with him all of these years, and I am so excited for all of the incredible things we’re planning for artists in 2020.”
“I like Bandzoogle because I like the work we do - building tools for musicians and artists to help them succeed,” says Mitchell. “I also like that the company really cares both about our both customers and our employees. I’ve felt truly valued and cared for as a person for the whole time that I’ve been with the company, through all sorts of ups and downs, and I’ve really grown in the almost 14 years I’ve been here.”
Bandzoogle is the most effective platform for musicians and bands to build their website and manage direct-to-fan marketing and sales. Powering over 45,000 websites, the all-in-one platform features powerful design options, a commission-free store to sell music, merch, and tickets, a built-in mailing list tool, detailed fan data, integrations with social networks, and more.
Plans start at just $8.29/month, which includes a free custom domain name. Artists can try it free at www.bandzoogle.com
