You can easily change the email address used to log in to your account at any time. Updating this information will change where we send notifications about your account (including support replies, billing alerts, purchase updates, mailing list notifications, and custom form feature submissions, etc.). Your login address will also be the default email address listed in the reply-to field for anyone responding to an email campaign sent through your Mailing List tab.

How to change the email address used to login to your account:

  1. From the ‘Edit Content’ tab click the arrow next to your username in the top right corner
  2. Select ‘Account Details’ from the dropdown menu
  3. Click the ‘edit profile’ button
  4. Enter the email address you want to use
  5. Click ‘Save’

Note: It’s important that you have access to your login email address outside of your Bandzoogle account. If you are ever locked out of your account, you will need access to that email inbox to receive the password reset link.

In the event that attempts to your ‘Primary email’ bounce and we cannot contact you at your primary email address, we’ll reach out to you at your ‘Backup email.’

How to setup your backup email address:

  1. From the ‘Edit Content’ tab click the arrow next to your username in the top right corner
  2. Click on Account Details
  3. In your Profile Details, click ‘change backup email’ next to the ‘Backup email’ option
  4. Add a backup email address
  5. Click 'Save'

How to change your account password:

  1. From the ‘Edit Content’ tab, click the arrow next to your username in the top right corner
  2. Select ‘Account Details’ from the dropdown menu
  3. Click the ‘change password’ button in the ‘Profile’ section
  4. Enter your current password, your new password, and then confirm the new password again
  5. Click ‘Save’

Note: If you don’t have access to your current password, please log out of your account. Go to the member login screen at https://bandzoogle.com/login and click on ‘I forgot my password’. then enter the current email address on your account. This will prompt our system to send you a password reset link by email.

You can also access your password preferences from your Bandzoogle main dashboard. Here’s how:

  1. Log in to Bandzoogle or, if you’re logged in, click on the BZ (Home) icon in the top left of your control panel
  2. In the ‘Quick Links’ area on the right, click ‘Account Details’
  3. Follow the steps listed above

How to view your trial account website

When you sign up for a Bandzoogle trial, we’ll provide you with a temporary domain and unique password to view your website when you’re not logged in. There are two ways to find your password.

From your Control Panel:

  1. Click ‘View Site’ at the right of your Control Panel, next to your project icon and upgrade prompt
  2. In ‘Preview mode’ your password is listed in the top banner

From your dashboard:

  1. Click on the BZ (Home) icon in the top left of your Control Panel
  2. At the top of your ‘Dashboard’ page, you’ll see a call-to-action with your unique password listed

During your trial, your temporary domain will be yourprojectname.bandzoogle.com. For example, if your project name is The Great Band, your temporary domain will be thegreatband.bandzoogle.com

There are two ways to view your website during your free trial.

While you’re logged into your Bandzoogle editor, follow these steps:

  1. Login to your Bandzoogle account
  2. From the ‘Edit Content’ tab, click ‘View Site’ in the top right corner

If you’d like to share your progress with your bandmates, follow these steps:

  1. In your browser address bar, enter your temporary domain and click ‘Enter’ on your keyboard
  2. Enter the preview password in the field provided
  3. Click on the blue arrow or press ‘Enter’ on your keyboard

Note: You can upgrade your account at any time to create your own custom domain name and enjoy the full website experience.
