How to add a ‘Mailing List Signup Form’ feature
To add a ‘Mailing List Signup Form’ feature to any page of your site, use these steps:
- From the ‘Edit Content’ tab, click ‘Pages’ and open the page on which you’ll be working
- Click the orange ‘Add feature’ button on the left
- Select the ‘Fan Interaction’ feature category
- Select the ‘Mailing List Signup Form’ feature
- Use the placement arrows to pick a location for it on your page

A mailing list signup form can also be added to the header of your website using the ‘Call-to-Action Header’ feature. To set up your ‘Call-to-Action Header’ feature to display a mailing list signup form, follow these steps:
- In your ‘Edit Content’ tab, click the ‘Call-to-Action Header’ feature in your website header to open its settings
- Under ‘Display format’ select ‘Mailing List Signup Form’
- Customize the available fields and click ‘Save’
Note: The ‘Call-to-Action Header’ feature is not available on all design themes and may be greyed out in the “Add Feature” panel if your template does not support the ‘Call-to-Action Header’ feature.
Customizing your ‘Mailing List Signup Form’ feature
After adding the ‘Mailing List Signup Form’ feature to your page, you’ll have a series of customizable fields to fill in.
- Automatically add new members to a group: Having this enabled will sort new signups into a specific contact group in your ‘Mailing List’ tab.
- Click the drop-down menu to select an existing group, or click ‘Create Group’ to make a new one.
- Give a free download on signup: Automatically sends a free download to new contacts in exchange for joining your mailing list.
- Click the drop-down menu to choose from your existing tracks, albums, or files.
Note: The ability to offer a free download to new signups is only available on the Pro plan.
- Title: Customize the title that displays at the top of your mailing list signup form.
- Description: Customize the text that displays below the title. Use this text to encourage fans to sign up; mention if you’re offering a free download in exchange for signing up, or what kind of exclusive content and news people can expect after subscribing.
