Selling music ahead of your album release is easy to do using our 'Single' feature. This feature is dedicated to promoting a single track, complete with artwork.

How to add a 'Single' feature to your website

  1. From the 'Edit Content' tab, click 'Pages' and open the page on which you'll be working
  2. Click 'Add feature'
  3. Select the 'Single' feature
  4. Use the placement arrows on that page to set the feature's location
  5. Click 'Add Single'
  6. Under 'Your Track', click 'Add a track'
  7. Choose the 'Add new track' tab
  8. Enter your 'Track Info':
    • Track Name
    • Artist name
  9. Click 'upload file'
  10. Select the track files from your computer, and click 'Open' (MP3, WAV, FLAC files are accepted)
  11. Enter your 'Track details' (optional)
    • ISRC code
    • Track notes
    • Lyrics
  12. Click 'Save'
  13. Enter your 'Allow download / sale' options:
    • Yes / No - select 'yes' to allow your track to be downloadable; select 'no' if you want the track to stream only.
    • Download type: Free, Free (require email address), Free (require member log-in), Paid (fixed price), Paid (fans set price).
  14. Enter your 'Single Info':
    • Title
    • Year
    • Description
    • Album artwork
  15. Add bonus files, such as liner notes or images (optional)
  16. Click 'Save'

You can add as many singles to your website as you'd like, subject to your plan limits. To add another single, add a new 'Single' feature.

How to add a single from tracks you have already uploaded

  1. From the 'Edit Content' tab, click 'Pages' and open the page on which you'll be working
  2. Click 'Add feature'
  3. Select the 'Single' feature
  4. Use the placement arrows on that page to set the feature's location
  5. Click 'Add Single'
  6. Under 'Your Track', click 'Add a track'
  7. Choose the 'Use existing track' tab
  8. Click 'Add Track' beside the track you'd like to add.
  9. Click 'Edit Track' to update any of the track details
  10. Enter your 'Allow download / sale' options:
    • Yes / No - select 'yes' to allow your track to be downloadable; select 'no' if you want the track to stream only.
    • Download type: Free, Free (require email address), Free (require member log-in), Paid (fixed price), Paid (fans set price).
  11. Enter your 'Single Info':
    • Title
    • Year
    • Description
    • Album artwork
  12. Add bonus files, such as liner notes or images (optional)
  13. Click 'Save'

Your single will appear in a styled music player on your website. Your fans can stream, buy, or download the track, as per your track settings.

How to share a track from your editor

Use this option to share music to your social media accounts.

  1. From the 'Edit Content' tab, open the page where your track is displayed
  2. Click on the 'Single' feature to open it
  3. Click the 'Share single' link in the top right corner

  4. Choose the share option you'll be using:

    • Facebook: Click the Facebook icon
    • Threads: Click the Threads icon
    • X: Click the X icon
    • By Email: Click the email icon
    • By direct link: Click 'Copy' in the 'Link' field, and paste that into a social media post, email, or text message.
    • QR Code: Copy, print, or download the QR Code that will link directly to your track or album when scanned.

Note: To share your single to social media, click the 'Share' button beside the 'Download' button on your website. The single's artwork will be displayed beside your track, in the shopping cart, and when you share the single to social media.

'Selling Tools' options

In your 'Single' feature, your site-wide 'Selling Tools' options are listed in the left sidebar. You can adjust your options directly within the 'Single' feature, or head to your 'Selling Tools' tab to update settings.
