First and foremost is your main image. It should convey your band with just a look. Marquee includes your name, a call-to-action, and the menu layered over the image. This gives your page an organized feel.

Your band or artist name sits closely tied to your call-to-action, making sure the eye doesn’t have to travel all over the page. Choose a simple, clear font and make your name big enough to read.

You can also set a title background to appear behind your name and call-to-action to make it stand out even more.

Clear call-to-action

Catch your website visitors’ attention with a call-to-action promoting your latest album. You can also collect fans email addresses right at the top of your page. This text and button combo can be set to the left, right, top or bottom to be sure it flows well with your image.

More menu bar options

You can make your menu bar opaque, semi-transparent, or eliminate it altogether. You can also set it as full-width, or allow it to just fill the required space. Then toggle your site-wide social media icons to be on the left or right side, within your menu.

Sections and more sections

This website template is uncluttered - it’s an open canvas for all of your text, images, and music. Marquee makes it easy to choose different section background colors to separate your content. We’ve selected preset colors to start you off, but you can get as creative as you want.

Variations

Marquee has four variations to choose from. Grab one of these preset options as a quick way to liven up your current website. You can also further customize the Marquee template: the background, all the colors, and fonts using any variation, for a truly unique look.

First off, the sombre version of this template features strong muted tones, just right for a duo to customize.

Next up is the elegant variation, designed with singer-songwriters in mind. Check out the vibrant orange sections set off by crisp white text.

Need an idea for your jazz trio’s website? Make it classic and stylish with variation number three. The neutral version of this template includes a striking black and white color scheme.

Finally, the Playful variation features contrasting yellow and blue tones. Use an image that suits these colors and your band’s website will be ready to go.
