Flip the header text and navigation

At the top of the page you’ll see your band name and menu on the left. Love the look of the title at the top? Then you’re all set. Or, you can switch those so that your menu comes first, and your name is set underneath.

Updated call-to-action options

With a large space available for a header image, adding a call-to-action to this template is a super way to promote your upcoming album or livestream. Once you’ve added your text, play around with the options to style the border width and color, the button, and your text. 

Adjust the title and subtitle sizing and font type. Finally, place it where you want it within the header area to make the biggest impact.

Header and background image options

No header image handy? No problem. Slide the sizing toggle to 0 and that will remove your header image altogether, leaving lots of space under your band name for your content.

You can add a full color background, or a full size image to the background of this theme. If you’d like to go for a subtle look, reduce the opacity of your image so that the background color shows through.

Page content at full-width

To make your content touch the edges of your website, set your width to 100. This will give your website a modern feel, making features like the photo gallery really pop out. If you choose to make your content full-width, your background image will still appear at the top of your website. You can also adjust the opacity of your content area, letting some imagery shine through.

Section styles for a modern look

The preset options for this template include the same background color throughout the content area. However, if you decide to make the content full-width, adding a section style or two will change up the flow of your pages nicely. Each section style can be tailored with its own background color, image, plus font, link, and button colors.

Four palettes to start with

To make things easy, we’ve created four versions of this template to try out. All of these variations can be treated as a starting point - choose one that suits you best and go from there. Each of these options are fully ready for mobile, with no extra work needed.

The Elegant version of this theme feels sophisticated and refined. It features muted pale green tones complemented by a white background. This one is perfect for a soul, jazz, or R&B artist. Use a png image with a transparent background to create a look that’s modern and compelling.

The Sombre version features a rock ‘n roll look and feel. It comes with a background image, funky main font, and pared down body font. It has a more grungy look, fitting for a punk band, or a classic rock cover band.

The Playful version is a preset option loaded with sugar and spice, featuring a playful pink background and cream accents. If you’re a singer-songwriter, folk musician, or pop songstress, try this version on for size.

The Neutral variation is a study in simple black and white, leaving lots of room for you to make it your own. Stick to the grayscale imagery, applying a header filter if needed, or add some pops of color to match your music. This one would work well for a producer, home studio, or rapper.

Remember, you can choose a new website template at any time to see how it’ll go with your content. If you think it works, continue to customize the fonts and colors until it’s just right. If you aren’t ready to publish it yet, just save the template and stick to what you had before.
