As an artist nowadays, creating a sustainable career often means capturing the interest of your current fans and converting that into sales of your music and merch.
To help you create and measure specific marketing campaigns with your music website, we’ve added a new feature for Pro members: Landing pages.
Also referred to as Squeeze pages, a Landing page is meant to focus the visitor’s attention on a specific action. This can be pre-ordering your new album, buying a merch item, or signing up to your mailing list.
How to use a Landing page as a musician
A Landing page is a page that’s usually dedicated to a short-term promotion for your music. This type of page will contain an offer as the focus of the page.
Without the distraction of anything else on the page, a Landing page is a clean slate to engage your fans and encourage them to take action. You can use multiple Landing pages with different marketing goals in mind, and tweak the content at any time.
There are lots of ways to use a Landing page to improve your music marketing efforts. Keep in mind that you’ll want to create a laser focus on one action per page. You can use a Landing page to:
- Build your mailing list
- Sell pre-orders for an upcoming album
- Set up Smart Links to promote a single
- Sell a specific merch item
- Sell tickets to a show or tour
- Promote a video
- Run a contest
These are just some ideas - you can add any Bandzoogle feature to a Landing page to reach your fan-building or sales goals.

Setting up Landing pages
When you add a Landing page it will match your current website’s design by default. There’s also the option for a full-height image background if you want to give the page a distinct look.
Landing pages are mobile-friendly and do not have a header, footer, or menu, making them a perfect way to fully focus your fan’s attention on the content.
Any Landing pages you build will be listed separately from your other website pages, for easy access, in the Edit Content area.
Page-level data for Landing pages
To help measure the success of your Landing pages, Pro plan members can view the new page-level data offered in the Reports tab. There you can see your Landing pages listed out, and click on each one to see the website visitor stats including location, inbound sources, and outbound link clicks.
You can adjust your pages as needed, and refer back to the data to help you make informed decisions about your music marketing efforts.
We hope you’re able to use Landing pages on your website to sell more music, merch, and tickets, and build your fanbase!
