Musician Website Love (10th Anniversary Edition): Daniel Ghattas

Every week, we highlight one of our favorite websites on Bandzoogle. For the month of October we’ll be featuring some of our oldest members to help celebrate our 10th Anniversary!

Who: Daniel Ghattas
What: Pop/Rock Singer-songwriter
Where: Montreal, QC
Why his website rocks: Well, we have to admit, we love Daniel Ghattas for sticking with us right from the beginning! Bandzoogle was founded 10 years ago and is based in Montreal, so it’s fitting that our oldest active member is from there.

For his website, we love that Daniel is using one of our new simple themes, which features a nice big full-background image. We also love that he’s collecting email addresses in return for giving away free songs right on his Homepage, and explaining what people get by signing up.

Nice job Daniel, and thanks for being with us these past ten years, here’s to ten more!

Very cool website and design! The nice thing about Bandzoogle is that artists and bands can see how other users use Bandzoogle creatively, and in imaginative and innovative ways. It's pretty much a self sustaining and propagating knowledge base!

Congratulations on 10 years..your service is great! But I do have a huge request to ask and that is ..Please add a system to upload videos that works like youtube. I know it seems a bit like reinventing the wheel but not so. Youtube throttles, blocks from playing or completely removes videos when they choose because it is a free service we users don't pay for. And as an artist I have intellectual property concerns when uploading my material to youtube..Can I really ensure my content is my content. So Rather than deal with that, I would love it if you all created a video system (MOV, MP4 etc ..not just a flash player) that I could just simply pay you an extra 5 to 10 dollars a month for. Oh and on last thing (sorry for the Encyclopedia Brittanica) I would love it you all created a partnering process where, if I chose to participate, Bandzoogle could run ads for its sponsors and pay me whatever fee you all are willing to offer. That's it, thanks!

BirdZk26000®: Creating our own video player is not currently in our plans, but I'll pass along the suggestion to our developers.
