Scott was born and raised in Beech Bluff, TN. He grew up in church and came to know the Lord when he was ten years old. After his parents divorced, Scott fell out of church and started to rebel against God. He sang in several night clubs and bars until the year 2000 when he felt the strong conviction of the Lord. He then began to live a fulfilling Christian life. Scott has one son, Hayden, who gave his life to the Lord in September of 2005. Scott's musical influences are Third Day, The David Crowder Band, Chris Tomlin, and Mercy Me. His life verses are II Corinthians 5:17 and Matthew 11:28-30.
