Time zone option for the guestbook
Many of our UK and Aussie members have been asking for the ability to change the timezone of posts. We just added this feature! Let us know of any ideas or comments you have in the community...

Catch ALL feature
Members can now remove the catch-all feature of your email accounts; this forwards any address that doesn't exist in your domain to your info@ address. It can also increase the amount of spam you get. To turn it off, click the email tab.

From email name
Members can now change the FROM email name in the EMAIL tab of the control panel. With the new mail system, if just uses your email address by default when sending mail via the web mail system.

Outlook users
The settings are the same using the new mail system, but apparently there is a bug in Outlook that asks you for a password. Remove the account and re-add it (with the same settings) to fix this problem. If you still have trouble, contact us in the help section.

New spam filter
One benefit of the new mail server is our much better spam filter. In the last 30 minutes, it stopped 608 spam mails from reaching our member's inboxes! We monitor all the blocked mails to make sure there are no "false positives". Unlike other ISPs's filters, ours doesn't just guess based on the content of the email -- this can also blcok good mails; ours uses a "blacklist" of known spammers that is updated every hour.

Web mail access
We have switched mail servers as described last week. You can still access your old emails at
this URL. They will stay online for another 60 days. The new webmail url is simply
http://webmail.bandzoogle.com or for fast access to multple accounts, use the email tab of the control panel.

New mail sytem
We are installing the new e-mail system today, but it can take up to 24 hours before you see any mails in your new inbox. If you cannot receive mail by tomorrow (May 21st), please email support with any questions.

New mail system added!
Standard and Pro plan members, click the "email" tab for more info. Some new features:
- Pro plan members now have unlimited email accounts!
- Standard plan members now have double the email storage space (100 MEG total)
- Much better web mail interface (like Outlook)
- Strong anti-spam features.

New feature: HTML only view
For advanced users, you can now choose a "HTML only" editor for your text box. Some advanced scripts were causing problems with the text editors, so this option bypasses them.

New feature: member notes
There is now a "notes" field for each member. The notes field is useful if you have an active e/street -team. You can take notes on who is doing what, and what they've done. You can now also see when your members joined.

Events now uses Google Maps
We've updated the events feature so that it remembers the map information if you make a change.
Also, we've changed from MapQuest to Google Maps. Google is improving their Map service much faster than other companies. They lets developers play around with their map system, so we'll be able to do a lot of cool things in the future...

The "view member" page now has a mail form that lets you send a quick email to that specific member. Not a huge feature, but is quicker that opening your mail program...
