cool. i was just trying it out and the music player didn't stop. I was still in the edit pages master window.. maybe it stops when the real site is visited?

YouTube video feature added
That's right, it's now easier to upload your videos. The new YouTube feature lets you easily add YouTube videos, and it pauses the music player when played.

Cool

Joe, I went to your site and the musicplayer kept right on playin'.

Joe, you are not using the YOUTUBE feature. This is why it is not pausing. You just have the HTML code pasted into a TEXT feature.
Chris/Hayseed.. Sorry for confusion.. I wasn't actually talking about the youtube on my site.. I have a test page that I try things out on... I inserted a youtube using the new feature and it didn't seem to work correctly.. I will try the feature later on my "real" site. I bet everything works well by then
Oh.. and ... after I paste it into the YOUTUBE feature.. is there a way to go back and edit it? example; I paste in html code from youtube. save. view the resulting site and then decide I need to resize the video. I can't see any option to edit after the initial save (in the new youtube feature). When I insert in a TEXT window, I can go back and view/edit the html so that I can change the image size to fit. It would be good to be able to do that in the new feature.
you guys are a total joy to work with.
cool feature but how bout something from dailymotion as well as i use that more often then youtube because dailymotion allows larger size videos and longer videos then youtube does any chance of this happening?
Thanks guys this is great! I agree with DWO... DailyMotion's VideoWall feature is just what I've been looking for.
That's awesome. It's great that you guys are starting make it easier for us to integrate non-bandzoogle generated material into the site, but give us tools to make it look seamless. I saw the Nimbit thing too, hopefully you guys keep growing partnerships with the many companies out there.
BTW, thank you thank you thank you for lifting the 4 feature per page limit, been waiting for that for a long time!
what's the nimbit thing?
Cool! Before I just took the text feature and copied and pasted the YouTube Code but this makes things much easier, with the new feature. Thanks BandZoogle!
Great!
love it. and once again thanks for this site.
we've gotten so much more fans by using this. im recomending this to all i know.
Outstanding!
It really is cool but if the site wide fired back up after the video was over that would rule!!
we love it
I Have tried to resize the embedded youtube code. because putting 2 youtubes videos side by side. pushes the whole alignment of my header off completely.
but my youtube video will not resize when i change the parameters of the hieght and width to resize.
has the new youtube feature got a set size?
Yes, it is a set size. It makes the YOUTUBE feature pretty much useless as far as I'm concerned. When the youtube feature was first added, I had that problem and brought it up with BZ. It is really bad not to have the resize option... they said that the majority of people liked the full size... A way around it is to use a TEXT feature (you can resize it in TEXT)and paste it in while using the source code option... It's a bit more of a pain because it doesn't show up in the STANDARD TEXT VIEW after you add it.... makes it harder to edit later.
Also, when you add it to a TEXT field, the SITE WIDE PLAYER does NOT pause. Sucks big time.
Yeh i know. I'd really prefer a way to resize it. the youtube feature is handy because is stopped the music playin when some presses play on the video... but at full size it throws alot of the layout off and most website resize thier vids smaller now...
i've resized all my videos. but just using the html function and changing the hiehgt and width numbers. but now people will have to manually press stop on the music.
i'm waiting for bandzoogle to come up with a streaming video player just like youtube's. that would solve alot of problems and keep the promotion onto our own websites, generating more traffic for us.
i'm not a web designer so i dunno how hard this is to develop.
but in the meantime, i'm just sticking with my resized youtube vids.
