Sneak peak at the new "reports" feature

Hey everyone,

We're putting the final polish on the new site traffic section, which we now call "Reports". Colin rebuilt the whole system from the ground up, giving you a ton more detail than what you have now. At the same time, the reports display this information in a way that is easier to understand.

Here are a few screenshots to get an idea:

A whole new music report page has been added. Tracks in your music player now have graphs showing you plays, skips, and partial plays. This lets you know what songs your fans are really listening to, and which they skip over. You also have the flexibility to view the plays, downloads and purchases from the last 30 days, the last year, or any date range you choose.

The new map view lets you see activity like music plays and purchases purchases by location. It also shows more popular areas as larger bubbles, so it's easy to see top cities at a glance.

We're excited to get this new feature launched, and are working hard to get it done in the coming week. We'll post here when it is ready!

Looking like a good improvment, but wasnt the go-live date 15th April? (pushed from 15th March)

What is the actual launch date at present?

Hey folks,

We plan on releasing this feature later this week. We did have to
delay from the March release because many members hadn't
installed their tracking codes. More news on this soon.

I find the reports section really useful and it helps me know if my publicity is working. First time I have posted anything, just like to say I have been using bandzoogle for a few years and find your service great... keep up the great work and the constant improvements.

I just think that when a company issues a launch date, they should stick to it. It was put back by one month initially on the grounds that some people hadn't updated their stats page with their Google Analytics code. But so what? They soon will when their reports dont work anymore. Now we're 2 weeks past the next advised launch date so... whats going on??

My suggestion, at least for now, is use the proper Google Analytics dashboard http://www.google.com/analytics/

Hi folks,

Sorry, I just returned from LA and the ASCAP conference. The stats
link was posted on April 26th, I had accidentally posted the
message in "bandzoogle chat" instead of the "bandzoogle blog"
section. You can access it by clicking the NEW STATS link in the
SITE TRAFFIC tab.
