I think you have to change the ilike link to ilike.com/artist/

My link for ilike uses artist and not "user" for the link.

I tried to link my ilike account but my link says "artist/name" not "user/name" so it wouldnt link it. And will you have option to open in another window instead of taking them from our sites?

Also, the itunes link, is not what itune has when you copy the url.

Stonemary: since a lot of these sites have music players, opening them up in a new window could cause overlapping tunes.

Thanks for this great new feature. I would also need the iLike http://www.ilike.com/artist/ URL. Also it would be cool if the links could be inserted on a site wide basis. That would have saved me thw bother of inserting them on each page separately. Will you be adding more sites in the future? Anyway, thanks again. It's brill!!!

Issues with this feature I have noted so far, and please forgive me, but this once again makes another bandzoogle feature unusable:

1. Facebook - I and many other bands have TWO facebook pages, namely 1 x PROFILE, of which people can "become a fan" and 1 x GROUP, where bands can send gig invites, make group officers, post and tag pics, message all members etc.

However I see only one facebook link option, therefore I cannot use this feature as my buttons, features, look will all be off etc. if I try to make a second, which I will also not be able to place next to it.

2. YouTube button - I have a playlist set up in my own personal YT account, however due to the inclusion of the word "/user/" in the URL prefix I cannot link to this dedicated playlist, only my full account, which contains irrelevant personal videos etc.

Therefore I cannot use this feature either.

3. All the links when created open in the PARENT window neatly ensuring that traffic is driven away from your site to the destination site. None of my links site-wide open in the parent window, always in blank windows.

I think I noted a comment about other sites playing music? I say, so what? If the sites clash, close one of them down, turn off your speakers, pause the player etc. I would rather this than to have these links not be consistent with other links on my site and for traffic to be taken away from my site.

So, all in all, LOVE the buttons and their look and its easy to set one up, but for the reasons above, I cannot use them.

WORKAROUND
I will try setting up a hidden page and adding the buttons. Then hotlink to the button image on another page (i.e.home) and add a new link URL with its own opening behaviour.

could we get a last.fm one?

and also is there any chance of the option of having the name underneath the icon? some of the icons are a bit obscure.. i wouldn't have guessed that was the flickr one!

Really nice addition... I have had these buttons on my site for a while now, as well as on all my artist's individual web and Myspace pages. I just got the .png files for them in different sizes and put them in HTML format linking to that site. Very easy to do.

I would like to use the ones you provided if they were a little smaller. 16x16 or 24x24 would be cool. But hey, you guys keep coming up with some good stuff to make the experience with you better by the moment. Thanks.

Ps: If we could finally get a FLASH BANNER option, that would set it off just right.

I'd like to mirror the ilike and itunes comments about the roots being incorrect, other than it's a great start and really useful! Also a last.fm icon would be really helpful!

A month or two ago I'd been considering returning to the old, build and manage your own site, but with all the additions being made to BZ it just defies logic, it's brilliant!

All I'd like now is to be a Featured Artist, even if it's only next week to promote our charity single! (Nudge, nudge, wink, wink!)

I don't know about the rest of you, but these buttons don't appear correctly on my site. Where there were "logo buttons" before, now there is only text saying "myspace" and "facebook" and such. When you pass the mouse over the text, it changes to a "broken picture" emblem..
I don't know if this is just mid-fix that Chris was talking about this AM, but if it is already fixed then somethin ain't right...

Also, I am putting this at the bottom of every page on my site, right below my mailing list subscribe area. (Makes sense to me for people to be able to join my BZ site AND my FB group, Myspace page, etc. all in one spot...)
The downside to this is, it makes me re-enter the links to the pages EVERY time I add the buttons to each page. This gets RATHER tedious with all the sub-pages and such on my site.
Any way to have it set up that once these data are entered, they auto-embed into each subsequent occurrence of the buttons being added onto the site? Would make this MUCH easier to add...

One for those using this new feature--I was stumped by the itunes link too and thought I needed to grab code from the itunes linkmaker, but I just put my full name in, no spaces, and it worked great!

For the BZ design team--kudos on a great tool. I only wish that I could have put in my links once instead having to input them on every page I used the site links. In essence, I am using these links as a footer on all my important pages and had to type the links in every time on each page...no fun. Very useful, but no fun.

I do not see the "My Sites" feature. I checked under Design & Options as well as edit pages to no avail. Any insight where this is located. Perhaps its the type of account I have but writing to make sure. Thanks for the input.

Poet: it is a page feature. So click the EDIT PAGES tab, then click ADD FEATURE. It is in the list, near the bottom.

These are great. I had someone making these icons for me and this comes right in time. A few things that would make them perfect for me.

1. Size adjustments. They are too big to fit the aesthetic of my artist's page.

2. Color adjustments. I'd really prefer them to be all one color. Again to fit the aesthetic.

3. Sitewide. I've noticed a lot of people commenting on the pain of having to do them on each page. I'm wondering if in addition to the "move/remove" function on any feature, there could be a "copy" function added. There are a few things that I'd like to move from page to page and that would fix both of those issues.

Having said that, you guys do a great job and I'm very pleased with the continual improvements and your willingness to listen to what your customers want from your service.

With the exception of the CD Baby link, they work great --- you need to replace the word "artists" with "CD" so that you can then enter your own CD Baby info after that. The way that it is now, it only takes you to the main CD Baby page.

Having a problem posting a new campaign. I cannot add a message. Of course when I click PREVIEW I get an error message ENTER A MESSAGE. Anything going on that would cause this?

This is what I love about your service! There have been plenty of times that you guys could probably sit back and relax, knowing that you have a great product. However, It seems like every week you're constantly finding way to make your service better! I was happy with my options when I signed on almost a year ago. The fact that you guys keep adding more options and features without jacking up the price really shows that your team cares about the artist and their music. This mind set from one entrepreneur to another is what will keep me as a customer for life. I'm constantly telling other bands/artist that I work with how great you guys are. Great Stuff
