Rich,
Go to edit pages, go to the "site wide media player", then go to
options.

Rich,

You might be getting your "site wide media player" and standalone player mixed up. I did.

Hi again-I clicked on audio player ( not site wide player) in edit pages menu- a choice of colour options came up, i chose one, and then chose a text colour, and then clicked save, but it is still the same! It's not really a big deal at all, i quite like the standard colour anyway, but there's nothing on telly, so i'm just wasting a little time fiddling around with my site.

Happy wednesday to anyone reading- wednesdays are worth celebrating - the weirdest spelt day of the week!

it is possible that you may need to refresh the page. While viewing
the site, hold SHIFT+REFRESH

Very cool. The basic audio player does not update though. It has the option to change colors as the site wide player but it does not work as the site wide player does when you choose your color. It stays the basic green (or grey) no matter what color you choose or if you refresh or not.

Hi Chris, same here. I also have mulitpule players (Multipule artists) and you now can not make just a grey skin, or turn it back. Also the color option isn't working. Any suggestions.

We're updating the page based player in the next 48 hours. We'll
post here when that is done as well.

Sounds cool! Can't wait to edit the music player on my website! Thank you! Smile

I really liked this feature, makes my site look much better!!!Very Happy

Hi to all,

I'm happy to see that the color now works on the audio players as well. Though I have to admit that I yet have to find a color scheme that
works with my site. The player just looses overall definition and shape with whatever color I choose. In all honesty..: I'd much prefer an
entirely new design of the player. It just looks a bit dated.

It's also unfortunate that it is impossible to center the player on the page. It will always aligns itself to the left margin and that makes it
look pasted on instead of making it sit nicely as a central feature of a music page...

Are you planning to revamp the player in the near future? If you did it would be great...!

Thanks for putting the color options in even though I think they don't integrate very well at the moment.

All the best

Claudio

Really love everything about the site but gotta say I'm not keen on the new players. The problem for me is not the actual player itself but the text box below it displaying other tracks, looks a bit messy

Would be nice to hide that part or have an option of the old players which intergrated into my site much better and looked neater

Hope this can be remedied asap

Hey Chris, Are the download and lyrics feature on all of the players no longer available? That will be sorely missed.

tab: download links appear beside the track in the playlist.

We did remove the lyrics button in the players. Looking at our
stats, across thousands of sites, it was virtually never used. To
simplify the player, we removed it. Lyrics still appear in the Album
feature, and will stay there.

Hi Chris,

I have noticed that the status bar and the high-light color for the track that is currently playing in the new player design is light blue by
default. Unfortunately that doesn't match the color scheme on our site at all. I've visited a few other sites as well and it seems to be like
this everywhere I visit. Would it be possible to change that back to just white? This way it won't interfere with both the color scheme of
the site design and the choice of color for the player. Or maybe make that customizable as well? I feel the player is such an integral part
of the service you offer and it would be fab if it integrated well in all respects within the excellent design options you offer...

And referring to my previous post...: will there be an overhaul of the player design in the near future?

All the best

Claudio

I love the color customization you've added to the music player, but even more than that, I appreciate the other bug fixes you've made. Most importantly, thank you for automatically pausing the site-wide player when an individual player is clicked, to avoid the annoying conflict when two players were playing at once. And thanks for fixing the problem with the volume control settings being reset with each new song.

You guys are the greatest. As always, keep up the good work, BZ, and thanks for all you do.
