How to add auto-responders in webmail

This is a follow up tip from my last post about email signatures. A few of you have written in asking how to add auto-responder emails in your Zimbra webmail. Here's how:
  • Click the Email tab in your control panel
  • Click Login as user next to the appropriate email account
  • In Zimbra mail, click the Preferences tab
  • Click the Mail tab
  • Under Receiving Messages, check the Send auto-reply checkbox
  • In the text box, enter the automatic message you'd like people to receive when they send you an email
  • Specify a start and end date for the auto responder
  • Click Save (upper left hand corner of the screen)

I didn't know this feature was available. Huge props... don't forget to forward all your emails to one central location that you check daily.

Is there a way to set up a separate auto responder for each product purchased in a store? (not the mp3 download)

I'm trying to find a way to sell downloadable goods like wave files or packages of songs and source files. So when someone makes a purchase, I need that product to send them a different download link.

I'm sorry, but at this time it isn't possible to have different auto-responder messages per store item. Actually, we have it on our development list to add other types of files (i.e. .zip, .pdf, etc.) to the Download feature in a future update.

I would like to sell zip files as well. I hope this update happens soon.
