Happy Holidays ! (And sneak peek of our upcoming new band website platform)

Some very fluffy snow fell on Montreal all afternoon today... the perfect weather to put anyone in the mood for the holidays... So, before I get my shovel out and get to work, I wanted to write a quick post here to wish all Bandzooglers a merry Christmas and joyful Holiday season.

As a little holiday treat, Chris put together a video to give you a glimpse of the new Bandzoogle platform. This has been by far the biggest project we have ever worked on, but now that it is close to launching, it is clear that it was worth all the effort. We're super excited to send out invites in the new year.

2012 is shaping up to be an exciting year at Bandzoogle. On behalf of the team, here's hoping that yours will be one of health, happiness and lots of music!

I HOPE you guys looked into allowing more customization to the "STORE" feature. After all this is how most companies [like myself] and bands make money so to limit it to just one style is kinda underwhelming, esp. if you have A LOT of items to feature in your store [which] I do. The fact that all the items can ONLY scroll down the page one on top of the other makes it harder for customers to see ALL them items you have in a more compact way. So they have an easier time comparing items, etc.

Also, would be great to see some more customization to the music player!
Just some thoughts. BUT PLEASE do something about the STORE feature. It's so DRAB!

Unlocalclothing: we did completely revamp the store. Cory designed a cleaner layout, and there are a bunch of great new features. Stay tuned, we'll post screenshots in the coming weeks.

I hate it when changes/updates are made as it usually makes things worse. You can't find things anymore, it doesn't flow etc. This on the other hand looks like a real dramatic step forward. Especially for someone like myself. It looks a whole lot more organic and will definitely get me tinkering more!! Can't wait. Thanks peeps at BZ

We'll be testing the new system with a small group of members starting in February, and we're going to make sure to test it thoroughly before releasing to all members, so it all depends on how that goes. We'll have more news soon...
