Bandzoogle has a new CEO!

Today I'm very happy to introduce Bandzoogle's new CEO, David Dufresne. David brings the business savvy and management skills to take the company to the next level. He is also extremely passionate about music and very involved in the local scene here in Montreal. For more on David, check out his recent interview at Hypebot.

With David on board, I can focus all my effort on making Bandzoogle even better. We have some big new features under development, and now I'll have time to help the dev team get them done even faster. I'll also be sharing my experience by blogging more and doing live webinars on a variety of topics (more about this soon!).

Exciting times are ahead. David: welcome to the Zoogle family!

Exciting times indeed !

I am unbelievably lucky (still pinching myself) and grateful to be joining Bandzoogle. Chris and the Zooglers have built an amazing platform. My job will be to 1) make sure that Chris and the team have the time and resources to keep evolving and growing it, and 2) help spread the word, so that more musicians can try it and find out how powerful it is.

I'm also very excited to join this passionate community of artists. Your suggestions, requests and comments are what's helping define the evolution of Bandzoogle. Keep it coming !

WOW! Rusty and Nathalie, singer and guitarist respectively
in my band, says I have a real talent for finding great people.
In the 5 or 6 years I've been subscribing to Bandzoogle, I'd have
to say Chris definitely has that talent. He just keeps finding
talented people to work with, and BZ just keeps getting stronger
because of it. Way exciting news!!

Sounds great! We've really enjoyed the site so far as we are fairly new members so we are already happy. Any new improvements would only be icing on the cake for us! Good luck!

Welcome to BZ! I am sure you will be a great help as it keeps growing. The real question is do you play bass?

Onwards and upwards! Congrats!

I've been with Bandzoogle for years and it just gets better with all the new upgrades and no hidden fees. A true, class-act service for someone with a labyrinth of files like mine!

Thank you for making it easy for us musicians so we can spend more time uploading, not coding!
And the ability to sell uncompressed wav files brought a tear to my eye.

Thank you all,
Terry McClain in Albany, NY

Welcome! Looks great Chris and gang. BZ has really helped me spread my wings as an independent musician and as someone with a passion for coding and developing, I have a great deal of respect for the form, function and integrity of this company. Scotty Lund has probably thanked me 6 times for putting together a BZ site for him. Smile Can't wait to share, experience and perpetuate the growth. Continually, Adam M

Congrats and Welcome David, I'm still very new to the site here myself but am enjoying it very much so far, I'm sure both yourself and Chris will find new and exciting ways to take the site to even higher levels.Since you were asking for suggestions, may I suggest the possibility of the site developing/incorporating the means to accept Flash layouts. It would make the individual band websites look much more high-tech and professional.
(although Im not sure how hard that would be to actually develop from a management standpoint-but somthing to consider)
