2 small updates: drag/drop photo reordering, preview clip fade-in

Based on the request of many members, we have changed the Album Download features' preview clips to only fade-in if you choose a portion from the middle of the track. If they were set to start at 0, they will now have no fade-in. We are re-encoding all tracks now, so those currently starting at 0 will have no fade-in within the next 24 hours. Secondly, it's now a lot easier to re-order your photo gallery pics....just drag & drop!!!

Very Happy Awesome great work guys! I have really been loving the improvements. Is there a way we could get the same features we have with the
Album Download Feature in the Site Wide Music Player? It could would really cut down on uploads if we could just upload one file and set
what part of the song we want to fade in, out, or play as a whole as? Thanks for your hard work guys and gals.

Thanks Chris.

When working on the photo albums would this not have been a good time to address the batch upload restrictions or is this still on the agenda?

Graeme.

Track Fade in... class!

I love the drag and drop idea with the photo gallery... but... would it be possible to have separate folders for the different gigs/activity the band does? Too many thumbnails makes our site look a bit over-crowded. The front of the folder could have cross-fading effect so you can see whats inside... thoughts anyone?

Matchstick - We will be revamping our photo gallery later this year. It will include photo albums and other options. Smile

Yes, looking forward to having separate folders. Maybe even a place where fans can upload pictures they took as well?

The reordering is not something I would call a small
update.... THIS is a huge time saver!!

Are there plans to offer a fade-out on preview clips like you have done with fade-in? It would make such a difference. Thanks much!

First I want to say thank you to everyone for your feedback about the Drag and Drop feature. Because some users were having trouble changing their layouts, we have updated the way you move features around on a page. The Move link has been replace so you no longer have to drag features to move them, but much of the code that was created to make the move process faster and more efficient has been retained. So now you have the best of both worlds - click the 'Move' link to select the feature you want to move and the 'Move Here' box to drop it in the right place. Watch it all happen quickly and seamlessly!
