Members can now remove the catch-all feature of your email accounts; this forwards any address that doesn't exist in your domain to your info@ address. It can also increase the amount of spam you get. To turn it off, click the email tab.
The settings are the same using the new mail system, but apparently there is a bug in Outlook that asks you for a password. Remove the account and re-add it (with the same settings) to fix this problem. If you still have trouble, contact us in the help section.
We are installing the new e-mail system today, but it can take up to 24 hours before you see any mails in your new inbox. If you cannot receive mail by tomorrow (May 21st), please email support with any questions.
We have switched mail servers as described last week. You can still access your old emails at this URL. They will stay online for another 60 days. The new webmail url is simply http://webmail.bandzoogle.com or for fast access to multple accounts, use the email tab of the control panel.
One benefit of the new mail server is our much better spam filter. In the last 30 minutes, it stopped 608 spam mails from reaching our member's inboxes! We monitor all the blocked mails to make sure there are no "false positives". Unlike other ISPs's filters, ours doesn't just guess based on the content of the email -- this can also blcok good mails; ours uses a "blacklist" of known spammers that is updated every hour.
