We're in the process of overhauling our site traffic system. During the change-over, your stats won't update for a day or so, but once the new system is activated, you'll have all of your stats in a new layout.
As you may have read in my comment for the previous blog post, we've managed to retrieve the mails that were sent to you from your website while the mail server was down. This includes the guestbook notifications, "contact us" forms, etc. that were sent between February 10th and 14th.
HOWEVER! This means that our mail server is now working overtime with a queue of over 5,000 emails to be sent. This means that any email that you send from your mailing list and from your webmail will take longer to be received than per usual (up to a few hours, potentially).
So please, don't send your mailing list messages more than once. Your messages will be sent--it just might take a little while. Any email sent using a mail program like Outlook or Thunderbird will be sent right away, since they don't use our servers to send your mail.
Thank you for your patience with us as we hurriedly got our replacement mail server up and running. Quite a few snags popped up along the way, and I hope that they didn't cause too much of an inconvenience for you.
Here's the current status:
Webmail: Everyone should be able to log-in to webmail and send messages normally.
Address book: Your webmail address books and settings have been imported from the old server. This means that any changes you might have made to your address book between Friday and today were overwritten. If you would like us to bring those changes back, just let us know and we'd be happy to restore them.
Mailing list mailouts: Should be all ok.
Checking your mail using Outlook, etc.: Should be all ok.
If you experience any more problems, please do let us know. If you can't email us at email@example.com for whatever reason, you can click on the "Help" link in your Control Panel, then "Contact Us" down in the bottom-left corner.
Some of you might have had issues with the contacts in your address books over the weekend.
We are going to re-add all old contact information from before February 10th 2006.
If anyone has any concerns or questions regarding their contacts, please email support.
